Cosmetic Techniques & Management Program

I feel that the Cosmetic Techniques & Management Program at Seneca College helped to prepare me for the Cosmetics industry. I respect the faculty since they were not only my teachers but are now my friends. I feel that without their help I would not be where I am today.

Lesley,
Cosmetics Department Manager
Shopper’s Drug Mart.

I graduated from Seneca last fall (2004) and since then my career has really taken off. I worked full time as a consultant at the first ever Sephora in Canada. It was a truly amazing experience which taught me many new skills and helped me utilize the one's I had learned through Seneca. From Sephora I networked, and started a new job as the North American Marketing assistant for Riviera Concepts. It is so interesting to be working behind the scenes of the retail world now. After taking in all my knowledge from Seneca, my cosmetics marketing course is being put to good use. I graduated with a Diploma in Cosmetics Techniques & Management Studies, and wouldn't be here if it wasn't for what I had learned from my amazing professors at Seneca.

Shevaughn,
Marketing Assistant-North America

I graduated from Seneca’s CTMA program in 2004 and since then I’ve been a freelance makeup artist in Canada and the U.S. When I think about my experience at Seneca, the first thing that comes to mind are the professors. To be trained by passionate, supportive, knowledgeable professionals, in a challenging academic environment was very important to me. In the CTMA program the content I learned helped me to understand and succeed in the highly competitive cosmetics industry. My post secondary experience has not only helped me evolve as an artist but also as a confident individual. (Much love and thanks to the faculty!) Check out my website at: www.virginiatran.com.
