Seneca welcomes Markus Biehl Associate Professor, Operations Management and Information Systems, Director, International MBA Program.

Customers increasingly demand that their suppliers adhere to sustainable principles, including environmental and social considerations. All of this, of course, while being cost effective. Can we really manage supply chains effectively and efficiently while incorporating environmental and social concerns, or do we have to trade off one with the other? This presentation will discuss green supply chain management methods and inch towards ways of thinking about environmental and social issues within a supply chain context.

This event is being held at Markham campus in the evening and will be free for student APICS members.

Agenda:

  • 6:00 pm-7:00 pm - Registration, Networking and Light Dinner
  • 7:00 pm-8:00 pm - Presentation and Q&A
