This course was designed to enhance the technical knowledge, general business competency and professionalism of the broker/agent. It provides students with the means to expand their general insurance knowledge, develop new sales markets and enhance their opportunities for career advancement.
Credit Status
PNC106 is a required subject in the Property and Casualty Program – P&C Program. Upon successful completion, it will provide one of the 6 credits required to secure a Certificate of Successful Completion of the P&C Program. In addition, it is the first of four credits offered by the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) toward the CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) designation.

CAIB 1 Examination 100%
Final Grades:
A+ 90% to 100%
A 80% to 89%
B+ 75% to 79%
B 70% to 74%
C+ 65% to 69%
C 60% to 64%
D 55% to 59%
F 0% to 54% (Not a pass)
