Faculty of Workplace Skills Development
The Faculty of Workforce Skills Development assists individuals with employment, training and academic upgrading. We provide services to adults, youth and internationally trained individuals in the Greater Toronto Area and York Region. Programs and services are available at the Newnham and Markham Campuses, as well as at Seneca's community locations in Newmarket, Vaughan, Scarborough, and North York (York Gate Mall).
Faculty Highlights
The Adult Academic Upgrading Program operates at seven locations in Toronto and York Region, and welcomes more than 400 adults per year to upgrade their skills for entry into College Programs.
Employment Ontario Services links employers with job ready candidates. Hiring incentives and training supports may be available.
In addition to the Faculty's direct services to internationally trained individuals, Seneca is also a Mentoring Organization with the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC), and is an active member of the Consortium of Agencies Serving Internationally-trained Persons.
