Counselling Services

At Seneca we believe that students' health and wellness is a critical component to their academic success. We recognize that our students may encounter difficulties which can interfere with their well-being and academic goals. Counselling Services can assist students through confidential, supportive counselling to address and resolve the wide range of issues that students can experience. 

We help you with...

Counsellors provide students with a non-judgmental one-on-one setting to address issues such as:

  • stress
  • feelings of loneliness, shyness, anger or depression
  • problems of motivation, self-confidence
  • interpersonal issues
  • self esteem
  • sexuality
  • addictions
  • anxiety

We also offer workshops and groups focused on issues related to health and well-being for students such as, for example:

  • disordered eating
  • developing self confidence
  • body image and self esteem.

In addition, counsellors can provide assistance with:

  • Vocational/Career assessment and testing
  • Individual counselling to help interpret assessment results and assess career options and future goals
  • Information about career fields and choices
